Program description:
The courses of Spanish as a Second Language are oriented to the development of communicative and academic skills for successful incorporation of the student’s activities in Colombia, which vary from tourism to longer periods of cultural, academic and work purposes and even eventual residence in a Spanish speaking country. Thus, the nature and the modalities of these courses vary.
Program aimed at: -
Levels: 4 Levels Basic: A1, A2. Pre-intermediate: B1. Intermediate: B2. Advanced: C1
Modalities:
- Spanish as a Second Language Intensive Course
This program is for people interested in immersion in Spanish language for quick progress in sufficiency, ending in exams for international accreditation. The intensive language work includes cultural trips associated with the learning to be obtained in the student’s sufficiency level.
- Spanish as a Second Language Course
This program is for persons interested in developing gradually Spanish language sufficiency, with more focused study settings during specific times of each day of the week (9 a.m.-12 m.). This course includes cultural field trips.
- Spanish as a Second Language Course with Specific Objectives
This program is designed for the specific needs of the student. It includes international students enrolled in other programs of the University. The program also includes cultural field trips.
Hourly intensity: 20 hours per week; each level includes 120 hours during six weeks.

Cost per level or course: Each week (20 hours) has a cost of $445000 COP (U$ 225)
